On January 13, 2023, Miami-Dade Circuit Court Judge Lisa S. Walsh entered a final judgment in favor of the Defendants on claims of specific performance and damages arising out of a failed real estate sale. Mateer & Harbert attorneys Scott Gabrielson and Brian Wagner represented the seller of two parcels of real estate. The seller was sued by the prospective buyer who claimed that it was entitled to specific performance and damages related to the failed transaction. Attorneys Gabrielson and Wagner represented one of the Defendants in that matter and successfully procured the final judgment in favor of their client. A motion for attorneys’ fees and costs is currently pending before the court and the Plaintiff has filed a notice of appeal.
